Ashley and Stephanie take their competitive friendship to a completely new level in this fast-paced apartment wrestling match between two athletic college women. Both are part of a close-knit group of friends who compete in a variety of sports and are always looking for new ways to challenge one another. Whether it is running, strength training, team sports or other athletic contests, competition has always been a big part of their friendship.

However, there is one area none of them has ever explored before: combat sports.

During lunch one afternoon, the group begins joking about which of them would be the best wrestler. The conversation quickly becomes more serious as everyone starts debating who is the strongest, who is the most athletic and who would actually perform best in a physical one-on-one contest. Before long, the friends decide that there is only one way to settle the argument.

They are going to wrestle each other.

This matchup between Ashley and Stephanie takes place inside an apartment, where mats are laid across the living-room floor to create a makeshift wrestling area. Their friends gather around wearing gym gear, excitedly waiting for their own matches while cheering Ashley and Stephanie on from the sidelines.

From the opening lock-up, it becomes obvious that neither woman intends to treat this like a casual experiment. Ashley and Stephanie are both fit, competitive athletes, and years of competing in other sports have given them the mentality to push themselves hard when victory is on the line.

The wrestling quickly becomes aggressive and extremely fast paced.

With neither woman formally trained, they rely on strength, balance, athleticism and instinct as they attempt takedowns, fight for top position and struggle to force the other into submission. Their friends shout encouragement and react to every reversal as Ashley and Stephanie scramble across the mats.

The intensity soon becomes too much for the small wrestling area. The women repeatedly roll and crash beyond the mats, throwing each other across the living room and onto the surrounding carpet as neither is willing to surrender a position simply because they have reached the edge.

By the end of the contest, both women are exhausted and covered in carpet burns from the relentless scrambles around the apartment.

Despite being close friends, there is no shortage of aggression once the wrestling begins. Ashley and Stephanie want the bragging rights that come with proving themselves to be the stronger and more capable competitor, especially with the rest of their athletic friendship group watching.
